In 1986, Automated was founded with a simple mission: to empower every dairy producer to succeed through innovative products, cost-effective solutions, and unparalleled customer service.
For over 30 years, Automated has been the trusted leader in the dairy industry because of our innovative solutions and unprecedented customer service. We represent some of the largest dairy equipment providers across the world to give our customers the best options and most complete product offerings possible.
Throughout the years, Automated has listened to the needs of our customers and built a Research and Development team to expand our product offerings by manufacturing our own solutions and niche products. We can provide dairy producers custom solutions that can’t be found anywhere else on the market.
Automated is headquartered in Jerome, Idaho. What began just as a single warehouse over 30 years ago has expanded to seven locations across the western United States in Idaho, California, and Nevada.
Our reach goes well beyond just our service centers as we have setup over 10 dealers across the country with our innovative solutions.
Our extensive product portfolio, over 30 years of experience in dairy service, maintenance, supplies, route services, project management, innovation, and electrical has enabled Automated to be the leader in this ever-evolving industry and help usher in change to dairy producers around the world.

Automated was founded by Jerry and Susan Higley in Jerome, Idaho.
2000
Nampa, Idaho
Automated expands it's reach into the Treasure Valley with a service center in Nampa, Idaho.
2008
Rupert, Idaho
Automated opens their third location in the Gem State with their Rupert Service Center
2014
Fallon, Nevada
Automated opens it's first location outside of Idaho in Fallon, NV.
2014
Tulare, California
The first Automated service center in California is opened in Tulare.
2020
Modesto, California
Automated opens their second California location in Modesto
2020
Innovation Center
The Automated Research and Development team begins operating out of the Innovation Center.
